CASCADES LIBRARY 

SEPTEMBER AND OCTOBER

This series of portraits was made during 2024, honoring the farm families registered with the state as Century Farms, families continuously farming the property for 100 years or more. A brief history is included with each portrait. These black-and-white silver images were made on film with the 4x5 view camera. A small display about this special  camera is in

JANUARY and  FEBRUARY 2026

Selected images from Philip's professional career and personal work over several decades. This exhibit will include some of his photographs of the ballet, portraits, landscapes, and still life. A wonderful opportunity to see fine silver-gelatin printing from a variety of subjects and film formats.

MIDDLEBURG LIBRARY 

MAY and JUNE 2026

Philip's latest portrait project, "Artists & Artisans", an exploration of using visual metaphor to suggest the subject's own relationship to his or her work. These are all portraits of local artists and craft experts, made in collaboration with them over the course of 2025.
